In parallel with its port advantage, HCMC is also pushing forward the development of the Hiep Phuoc port to promote comprehensive economic development for the region. The ferry route from HCMC to Vung Tau city has been launch along with the docks and new bridges contributing to the city’s socio-economic development and tourism.
Megacities and modern investment-oriented cities emerge
As a key economy of the region is interested and invested, Saigon South has increasingly attached domestic and foreign investors with modern metropolis and urban areas. With the region’s reputation as the region super city, Phu My Hung is leading the nation in terms of the degree of mastery. In the future, the area will continue to add a second super-smart city – Zeitgeist in size of 349 hectares that will help boost the region’s position and economic power with two of most modern super cities in the country.
Overall Zeitgeist megacity located in the South of Saigon with 349 hectares – Phase 1.1 is running
In addition, the South will be the cradle of international standards such as RMIT University, Fulbright University, Ton Duc Thang University, Economic University, Secret Institute of Technology, Van Hien University, etc. in the future.
