The World started to show signs of extremely serious environmental deterioration in the 1960s. Humans begin to realize that human hands are damaging nature’s living ecosystem.
Only then can we understand the importance of the environment in our lives. Since that moment, we started to build projects that protect the environment like using renewable energy instead of fossil energy.
Furthermore, since we live in a flat world, it must be based on science and technology. Combining nature and smart technology is a common trend right now.
Principles of building a green space system
Greenspace system is understood as an ecosystem. This term was first appeared in the world by Mr. Ernst Genrih Gekkel – an expert in animal research. The term “ecosystem” is used by him when observing the habitats of the world’s animals.
The project “Zeit RIVER COUNTY 1” owns parks with several green areas.
By the mid-twentieth century, the term “ecosystems” expanded and people used it for plant habitats. Today, the ecosystem has 5 basic groups: forests, grasslands, deserts, tundra, freshwater, and marine.
When applying the term “ecosystem” to urban planning, three basic issues of the city were explored and studied.
Dependence Ecosystem
Since the city needs some external resources, the functions of a system must balance and self-regulate its own ecological environment. The city can only achieve ecological balance when combined with the many expansive surrounding areas.
This means that the city is incapable of supporting the inhabitants of its boundaries (unable to breathe air on its own, unable to drink its own water, and emitting huge amounts of domestic waste).
Cumulative ecosystem
The cumulative ecosystem is the metabolism in the city. This is the premise to form the “cultural layer” inside the city as products of construction and the lives of residents.
Local ecosystem
The formation and development of an urban area in a city are determined by the laws of nature and regular human activities. If the equilibrium is not reached, that city will fall into a state of local ecological crisis.
Apply smart technology in modern life
In order to apply advanced technology to a smart urban area, the city needs to deploy many factors.
Technology infrastructure
Digital: connecting broadband communication infrastructure and computer infrastructure in the direction of providing flexible services to meet the needs of the population.
ZEITGEIST smart city always has advanced technology infrastructure system
Smart devices: are a class of devices that collect data from an urban area’s sensing devices using artificial intelligence and machine learning. These devices then analyze the data and direct appropriate care to the local area.
Access rights: set up a number of programs to give citizens access to the database system.
Wired networks are the physical components of an information technology system. The wired infrastructure supports the active IoT network. Wireless technology enhances connectivity.
Information city: consists of many devices that interact to generate large amounts of data to serve the growth of urban areas. The degree of expansion is when the data system is upgraded regularly and leads to the concept of data urban.
