The agreement marks an important milestone, as it brings a prestigious non-profit international school with a rich history of over 87 years to the latest biggest urban project in the South of Ho Chi Minh City. Under the terms of this agreement, Chadwick will directly operate the school called “Chadwick International School Ho Chi Minh City” (CISH), which will offer international education to students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12. Chadwick has a wide range of autonomy in the operations, direction, management, and supervision of all school operational aspects including teachers and curriculum, which allows Chadwick to instill its proven and successful educational model, philosophy, and core values. In addition, school facilities and finance are fully supported by ZE and VGSI.
To realize Chadwick’s vision of providing excellent education to children in different countries, Chadwick has been working with renowned developers such as POSCO, Ecopark, and VGSI to expand their campuses to South Korea, Hanoi, and HCMC respectively. As the 4th campus of Chadwick, CISH will be situated on a 3.4 ha land site in Zeitgeist New Town, Nha Be district with a total capacity of 1,200 students and state-of-the-art facilities equipped to balance the learning needs of not only academic but also sports and the arts. Some of the notable facilities include a performing arts theater with 700 seats, a Black Box theater, music and drama rooms, 2 gyms, an indoor swimming pool, soccer fields, basketball courts, libraries, canteens, science rooms, and a MakerSpace. In addition, Chadwick students also benefit from the philosophy of “One School, Multiple campuses” which allows students to engage with peers from different Chadwick campuses and experience the diversity of cultures, people, and languages to develop the skills and mindset of global citizens.
Currently, preparations works for CISH are being conducted (licenses, school design…) and by 2025, the school expects to welcome children of Zeitgeist residents as well as those from other neighborhoods.
